Adult Education

Studying in Sligo IT

Sligo IT offer 5 scholarships per year to asylum seekers under the University of Sanctuary. To apply for a scholarship, you must first apply to the CAO (Central Applications Office) for a course, in February. Fee is €30 if you register early. St Vincent de Paul can help you with the fees. You should also send us an email telling us you are interested at diversitysligo@nullyahoo.ie.

When Sligo IT contact us, we will send you an application form. Studies would be free. Normally you would be asked to pay international fees which usually are € 10,000 per year.

You may avail of a number of courses at Sligo ETB, If you are offered a place at level 4 or 5, talk to us.

Classes in Spoken English with Failte Isteach

English conversation classes for anyone wishing to learn or improved their English language skills.

FREE of Charge – Organised by the Sligo LEADER Partnership.

Time: Each Thursday, 10.30am to 12.30pm. From June to September only (not available during school holidays).
