You may not receive Job Seeker’s Allowance and study at the same time.

You can avail of Back to Education Allowance and study if you have received Job Seeker’s Allowance for a time.

You can avail of Solas courses and be paid Job Seeker’s Allowance at the same time. Ask your case worker at INTREO.

Ballinode College, the ETB and the Mercy College offer PLC courses.

You can also attend courses in Sligo IT and St Angela’s College.

If you are over 23, you may qualify as a mature student.

You may apply for a third level grant electronically from SUSI.
